The Flight Deck

This national wildlife refuge during the winter months has thousands of sandhill cranes and tens of thousands of snow geese. In addition, there are many other species of water fowl and raptors.

  • Similar to their larger cousins, the whooping cranes, these magnificent birds can be 4 ft tall and have a wing span of 6-7 ft.
